CTET 2023 July : About
The full form of CTET is the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, Which is a National-Level Eligibility Test organized by the Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE). CTET Exam is conducted twice a year. This exam is conducted for the appointment of the teachers in the primary (Class 1-5) and Junior (Class 6-8).
CTET Exam has two papers,
CTET Paper-1 CTET Paper-1 is for classes 1-5. CTET Paper-2 CTET Paper-2 is for Classes 6-8. Note– A candidate who wants to teach class 1-5 take CTET Paper-1 and wants to teach Class 6-8 take CTET Paper-2 and who wants to teach Class 1-8 take both the paper. |

The eligibility criteria for this examination are as follows, candidates should read the eligibility criteria before applying online.
Eligibility for CTET Paper-1: > Candidate must pass the Senior Secondary Examination or Equivalent Exam with a minimum of 50% marks. > Candidate should pass or appear in the Second year or Diploma in Elementary Education with at least 50% marks. |

Eligibility for CTET Paper-2: > Candidate should be a graduate and he/she should be passed or be in the second year of a Diploma in Elementary Education from any recognized university in India. > Candidate should graduate with at least 50% marks and he/she should be passed or in the first year of Bachelor of Education (B.ED). |
